Grammar for Middle School gives your child the foundation they need for high school writing courses. The course is built on Grammar Revolution’s Get Smart and Stay Smart programs, which use sentence diagramming as an engaging and effective means of helping students see how each part of speech relates to the others and what function each serves in the sentence. In addition to sentence diagramming, students learn the ins and outs of capitalization, punctuation, and usage and practice and perfect their skills through online assignments. Students come out of this class with a strong understanding of how the English language works and with confidence that they can write and speak with clarity.

Meets 55 minutes per week for two semesters.
